Light Skin Keisha

Light Skin Keisha was born on 4 September 1999 in Decatur, Georgia, and grew up in Atlanta. She was raised by her mother without her father’s presence. Keisha has eight siblings, five sisters, and three brothers whom she was raised along with under her mother’s guidance. 


LightSkinKeisha is an American rapper, songwriter, and social media star, who rose to stardom as the contestant of the show named Love & Hip Hop, since its ninth season. She eventually transitioned from being IG famous to a signed rapper, who has put out popular songs like “Weather,” “Ride Good,” and “Treadmill.”


Keisha got the name from one of the characters in the movie Belly. Given that there was a character with the name Keisha in Belly and she had dark skin. Keisha loved the role she played as a female boss and how she handled her business. So she decided to adopt the name and flip it to Light Skin Keisha.
